We process all film on a Jobo Rotary Processor with one-shot chemistry, this service has been ongoing for 25 years and today we still work with long-term clients providing excellent quality film. We now only work on larger projects and will make contact sheets and/or high res digitally scanned contact sheets from the film. We are not set up to do small run service, however we are happy to recommend other local labs that can accommodate smaller size projects at a quicker turn around. Please contact us via email for a quote for your unique project!
Film Processing
PMK and ID11 B&W processing are our standards, as well as custom C41 processing such as cross processing and Bob Carnie's solarization can be done for special quoted jobs.
Scanning Services
We use three types of scanners in our workspace that offer varying degrees of quality digital renderings depending on your project's needs. We use one scanner for cost-effective digital renderings and copywork of small artworks, family photographs, and quick digital contact sheets or film scans. A secondary scanner is used for film scanning jobs that require show quality resolution for negatives and slide film (up to 4x5). Our third scanner offers renderings of the same show quality however, this scanner allows us to scan negatives and positives, as well as printed artifacts up to 12x17 inches in size.
If you have works that require copywork of artworks that are beyond these sizes, please contact us for a job-specific copywork quote.
Proofing Services
We can offer inkjet contact sheets from digital files, or direct contact silver gelatin contact sheets from original film. Both methods are available in 8x10 to 30x40 in size.
Bulk printing for artwork printing, and/or proofing needs are available on a couple of our standard inkjet papers. Sizes for this service are available starting from 44x48 inches up to 44x120 inches from a single file. Please see below video on preparing a canvas for bulk printing.
